    Enable the DaVinci Data Exchange Module

    72.2.1Enable the DaVinci Data Exchange Module

     

    The DaVinci Data Exchange module handles bulk data exports for provider systems and enforces access permissions via FHIR Group resources. This must be enabled and configured to use the Provider Access API.

    72.2.1.1Enable and Configure the Module

    1. In the Smile Web Admin Console (with administrator access), navigate to: Configuration → Module Config → Add Module.
    2. Add the Module:
      • Select DaVinci Data Exchange from the available options and click Add.
      • Assign a descriptive Module Name to identify it in the console.
    3. Set Dependency to the FHIR Endpoint that will host the necessary resources.
    4. Save and Enable the Module:
      • Confirm the module is active in the console.
      • Verify that the module status shows Enabled and is linked to the correct FHIR endpoint.
