    Smile's Payer-to-Payer solutions support health plan providers in complying with federal and state regulations mandating the exchange of clinical records at the member's request. Patients benefit from the portability of their health records, and payers can leverage health histories to improve care management.

    The Smile Payer-to-Payer platform supports various aspects of the FHIR-based exchange:

    • Requesting data from other payers, including authorization processes

    • Sharing data with other payers, including authorization processes

    • Consent management and execution

    • Integration of data into the FHIR repository

    • Tools to track and troubleshoot data transactions
