FHIR Certification
There is no recognised certification for software or hardware FHIR compliance at this time. The only certification currently available is for individuals, and our lead architect holds this certification.
However, as the reference implementation of the FHIR standard, HAPI FHIR has participated in every HL7 FHIR Connectathon event since before the FHIR DSTU1 version was released, and we have committed to complete accurate conformance to the specification. Our FHIR server is generally regarded as the most complete, and most widely used implementation of the standard.
Smile CDR builds on this support to provide a comprehensive platform for FHIR compliance.
When testing a Smile CDR installation with the Inferno testing tool, the following settings should be considered:
Reject Insufficient Permissions with HTTP 401 should be enabled on the FHIR Endpoint module in order to meet the requirements of test OSLS-11
The ANONYMOUS user must be granted the FHIR_CAPABILITIES permission.
