If enabled, Medication resources derived from RXA segments will be standalone resources; otherwise they will be contained resources. This should only be enabled if RXA-5 (Administered Code) uniquely identifies a given medication and all of its meaningful fields. Note that a standalone Medication will not be created if the Administered Code is missing, even if this setting is enabled.

Medication Components derived from RXC-2 segments can be mapped as Medication (contained or standalone) or as CodeableConcept . Medication components should only be mapped to Medication if RXC-2 (Component Code) uniquely identifies a given Medication and all of its meaningful fields.
